In one of the oldest mansions of the historic center of Tinos, we were asked to create a room which would be able to respond to everyday needs, serve as an Airbnb space from time to time, plus have a peaceful atmosphere. This is why we created a "pocket" space. In an existing room - a relatively recent extension of the house - materials, design and architecture had to respond to the new, modern, complex needs of its owners, while keeping the relationship between the old and the new quite distinct. The garden remains a common space over the passage of time.
